Jacqueline Fernandez, a Sri Lankan actor from Bahrain's Manama was raised in an ethnically diverse family. Jacqueline's parents are Malaysian as well as from Sri Lanka. Padukone, her mother was the famous badminton player Prakash Padukone, was born in Copenhagen and was raised in Bangalore. As a teenager Padukone was a participant in numerous national badminton tournaments. However, she resigned from playing when she made the decision to be a professional fashion model. Padukone was born in Mangalore, Indian. The language she speaks is Konkani is her mother tongue. Her lineage hails from Padukone village in Kundapura Taluk in the Udupi District of the State of Karnataka, India. Her father, Prakash Padukone, is an international badminton champion who is now retired. The mother of the child is a traveling agent.
